CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MISSION & PURPOSE
The purpose of this corporation shall include the following: to promote the
general welfare of the Chamber's administrative areas by stimulating more
interest in the retail shopping climate, education, legislation,
environment, tourism, recreation, cultural needs, area planning, certain
light manufacturing and use of natural resources. This corporation shall at
all times be wholly and strictly non-political. It shall take no part in any
political campaign for or against any political party or candidate of any
party, but will encourage its members to take an active part in voting and
keeping informed on various issues that come before the Congress of the
United States, the Texas State Legislature, and local and county governments
in an effort to preserve and promote the competitive free enterprise system
and the interests of the Holly Lake Area.
