Debt and Downgrade

It makes no difference what political party you follow, the debt and downgrade situation will have an effect on all of us at retirement time. With that in mind, you may need to consider getting the best bang for your buck - because we will probably have fewer bucks in the future.
If for that reason alone, it would makes Holly Lake Ranch a perfect place to retire as the cost of living is low, taxes are lower, and there is no state income tax in Texas.
Consider that when you consider your retirement community.
Survey by the University of Phoenix

Here is a link to a survey by the University of Phoenix concerning Best States for Business. Under taxes, they rank Texas second. Couple this with No state personal income tax, and you would have to say that Texas is a tax haven.
Holly Lake Ranch has many amenities, beautiful trees, and the lowest taxes in the United States.
