Holly Lake Ranch is a private gated community located on 3,000 heavily wooded acres in Wood County, Texas, with a security staff on duty 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Holly Lake Ranch is located 100 miles east of Dallas, Texas, 98 miles west of Shreveport, Louisiana, 30 miles north of Tyler and 10 miles north of Hawkins. The Ranch is accessible only to property owners and their guests. It has a 24 hour security staff, 18-hole PGA golf course, 6 tennis courts, 3 swimming pools, 5 lakes, 2800 ft. hard surfaced runway with aircraft tie-down space, parks, pavilions, meeting and recreation halls, and more available for owners and guests.
There are approximately 1900 property owners; (some 2777 full-time residents and another 400 or 500 weekend residents) living in the natural beauty of this forestland. HLR is looking for your input. The Matrix Assessment Group Questionnaire is available to all property owners and can be accessed by one of the links listed below.
It is intended to gather information such as to what attracted us to HLR, what do we like best about HLR, what would we like to see changed or improved at HLR, which amenities do you utilize, what additional amenities would you like, how do you feel about the covenants listed in your deed, what are your views of the current rules & regulations, how long have you lived at HLR, and other similar questions.
This information will be extremely helpful in identifying ways for us to attract others to HLR and also how we as a group can continue to improve upon what we now have. It only takes 10-15 minutes to complete the survey and we strongly encourage you to do so even if you did not attend the recent public forum.
